Hospice costs and Lottery players contribution to care

Your support makes a huge difference to all those whose lives we touch.

It costs £6.5 million to keep our hospices Mount Edgcumbe in St Austell and St Julia’s in Hayle open providing end of life support for people with terminal illnesses.

This care is provided free of charge, but funded by the community of Cornwall.

Our NHS grant amounted to £1.105 million – representing 17%

Our amazing supporters raise the other 83% (£5.395 million).

Our weekly lottery and bi-annual raffles are recognised as excellent sources of this income and all the profits from playing the Cornwall Hospice Care lottery, go to funding the care we provide to the people of Cornwall
